Olivia Pérez- Fotógrafa

Licenciada en Ciencias Biológicas por la UDELAR (2007) con especialización en Paleontología, ha realizado estudios en fotografía con docentes como Roberto Schettini, Analía Piscitelli, Roberto Fernandez Ibáñez y Pablo Guidali, entre otros.

En el 2009 se traslada a Buenos Aires en donde cursa durante cuatro años los Talleres de Estética Fotográfica de Eduardo Gil. Además, realiza estudios en Filosofía del Arte en el Centro Cultural Rojas.

De vuelta en Uruguay, presenta su proyecto Wyrd en la Beca Roberto Villagraz de EFTI (España), el cual queda finalista. Ese mismo año «Wyrd» es seleccionada por El Ministerio Ediciones para hacer su próximo fotolibro y gana un Fondo Concursable para la Cultura, 2017. El libro se presenta en Enero de 2019.

Olivia Pérez has a degree in Biology by UDELAR (2007). She has completed various studies of photography with photographers such as Roberto Schettini, Analía Piscitelli, Roberto Fernandez Ibáñez and Pablo Guidali, among others.

In 2009, Olivia relocates to Buenos Aires and for four years attends the Photographic Aesthetics Workshops of Eduardo Gil. Aditionally, she studies Philosophy of Art at the Rojas Cultural Center.

Back in Uruguay, she presents her proyect «Wyrd» in the Roberto Villagraz Fellowship of EFTI (Spain) where it was a finalist. The same year, «Wyrd» is selected by El Ministerio Ediciones to make their next photobook and won a Fondo Concursable para la Cultura, 2017. The book was presented in January 2019.
